El Castillo (the castle) is the central point of
Chichen Itza.

L.A. (in purple) at the top of El Castillo.

Natalie working her way up El Castillo. This is a
very slow process as the steps are about as wide
as my foot turned sideways.
But the view from the top is worth the climb.

Natalie inside El Castillo. It was very humid, narrow and dark.

Inside El Castillo

El
Cenote Sagrado (the Sacred
Cenote) was used for rituals.
They have found human remains and offerings of gold,
copper, shell, wood, etc. at the bottom.

L.A. and Natalie standing by the
Cenote.

Northern Colonnade after a long but exciting day.
