2000 Reno AAFS

My first American Academy of Forensic Sciences Conference.
Feb 2000 in Reno.

This is me on the roof of our hotel.
It really was an exciting trip!
We were trying to get the snow in the picture.

Jolene is showing off our incredibly large and luxurious room.

Natalie goofing off with the Tiki glasses.

CJ drove from California to visit. We went to Lake Tahoe.

We are getting ready to ride Space Mountain.
This was the best ride at the park!

2001 Seattle AAFS

2000 Alligator Bayou

Here are some pictures of our trip to Alligator Bayou in Prairieville. Here is the website if you want to check it out. http://www.alligatorbayou.com/ It looks like it has been built up quite a bit since our visit.

2000, Scuba Diving in Cancun

Learning to scuba dive in the hotel swimming pool.

Actually diving!

After the dive we were ready to go again (which we haven't for those of you keeping score).

The boat ride back was beautiful!

2000 Chichen Itza

El Castillo (the castle) is the central point of Chichen Itza.

L.A. (in purple) at the top of El Castillo.

Natalie working her way up El Castillo. This is a
very slow process as the steps are about as wide
as my foot turned sideways.
But the view from the top is worth the climb.

Natalie inside El Castillo. It was very humid, narrow and dark.

Inside El Castillo

El Cenote Sagrado (the Sacred Cenote) was used for rituals.
They have found human remains and offerings of gold,
copper, shell, wood, etc. at the bottom.

L.A. and Natalie standing by the Cenote.
L.A. and Natalie relaxing on the steps of the
Northern Colonnade after a long but exciting day.

2000 Cancun Trip

Here are some pictures from our trip to Cancun (Dec 2000). This was my graduation gift from CJ, Jen and the boys. As you can see, we had a lot of fun!

This is the view from our front door.

This is the view of the balcony and beyond.

Not too shabby for Natalie and L.A.

Newest Hobby

Hi All,

I've decided (after sorting through MANY pictures) that I need to start a blog. Momma asked me to do this when we were in Colorado but I never took the leap. I plan on posting some older pictures to get everyone up to date and then continue on with the great adventure of the Purple (and Gold) Martins. I hope you enjoy. I'm a beginner so if you have any advice, let me know.

Take care,
Natalie
