L.A.'s Surgery

L.A. had surgery on Monday after our trip to Vegas. He had a cyst at the base of his coccyx that was infected over the summer and needed to be removed. The surgery went well. He's recovering quickly but still has some tenderness (as to be expected). I think that he forgets that he has a four inch incision on his butt and flops down on the couch or rolls onto his back in the bed. He's a good patient...good thing because I've realized that I'm not such a great nurse. :-)

Post Vacation Depression

When we got home from our vacation we had surprising reception. The cats (who are usually pissed and ignore us) were so happy and loving on us. And Oreo (who is usually so excited) was very pissed and ignored us. He was so sulky and maybe a little sick.

To make up to Oreo we bought him a new pillow (and also because he tore up the one we left for him at the boarders) and he loves his new one.

So I felt really bad about not having a picture of Zeusy to share and I remembered I had this one from just before we left for Vegas. We had emptied a box of bottled water and left the cardboard bottom on the floor. Zeus had more fun playing in this empty box than with any toy I've ever bought him.

More Halloween!!

I found some more pictures of our trip on my phone...
An (illegal-I think) picture of L.A. trying his luck at slots. We got $50/night free slot play with our room and ended up winning about $400! And even more impressive we came home with about $375.

Vegas Day 4...Heading Home

Our final day in Las Vegas. We had a late afternoon flight and had some time to take in a few more sites.

Las Vegas Day 1

We went to Vegas this year for our 5th Anniversary...back to where the marriage began.
